Not really bashing on this event as I think it's awesome nor am I bashing Turp and Cecily here but I think this is a little weak. It's like saying the previous Super Bowl or World Series champs should be in it again the next year because they were the previous year. I don't think knights who won tourneys back in the day were immediately put into the final round. Not like my opinion matters but JUS SAYIN BRAH.

Pretty sure in any sort of wrestling, boxing, combative sports you need to work your way up and beat the incumbent champ to take the title unless the current champ retires.

While I don't disagree, we would also be remiss if we didn't acknowledge the fact that the tournament where they won their titles was unannounced and occurred at like 9 am EST on a week day, which is probably the one of the lowest server population times. Not saying they didn't earn the titles, but to say titles from that tournament equate to reigning champs in this tournament is also kind of weak due to what I'm sure will be different levels of competition. I mean, the fact that a level 52 character was on the second best team kind of validates that point I feel.

To use the boxing analogy, it would be like a middle weight champ throwing on a few pounds and being declared heavy weight champ due to his previous success in a different weight class.

I really don't care though and either way I definitely appreciate the GMs doing this and am really looking forward to it. Even though I'm horrible at PvP, these sort of events are always a lot of fun.

This was supposed to be against the rules in the regular BoTB's but w/e I guess, never enforced anyway.

The owner of the account must play the character, no "Ringers" will be allowed.
