I thought it was good. It fit the shows Mormon roots lol.
Yeah, but the idea of saving humanity by eschewing technology, relegating the majority of mankind to short nasty lives with brutal deaths for 150,000 years? Really great plan there guys. I'm sure that's a great way to allow our hearts to grow and catch up with our minds. Nothing like a little plague, famine, and war to make us all love each other more. And all the suffering and death was for nothing, as this information was clearly not passed down to help us avoid this fate from repeating in the future. Not to mention what the Cylons are likely to do in the intervening eons. Next time we see them, they will have colonized the better part of the galaxy while we were fighting over scraps of food and pieces of land in Europe.

Season 6 of Lost
That's funny. I kept thinking Revolution felt like a really poorly done version of Lost. At least Lost had a few good seasons to temper the crap at the end.

Yeah for sure. It overlooked a lot of legitimate conclusions. 100% with you there. I think the Cylons wanted it that way and made it happen regardless of what the "humans" or "hybrids" did. So in the end it was just the surrender of humanity to its own baser natures. Not a good ending for people who supposedly were enlightened by their journey.

I'll give ya that, they did have a few good seasons, I even liked season 6 until about the day after I watched it.. I think it was at that pt I thought "hmm, I think s6 just conned me out of a good ending" lol

*edit* kind of like the last ep of Sopranos, I enjoyed the show but that last ep... maybe I'm just not a fan of series endings

I wouldn't say BSG was better than stargate. I did however really enjoy watching a new sg1/sga/bsg episode every week. Was fantastic.

I enjoyed SG1, SGA (more), a lot. But it had similar pitfalls to other sci-fi that allowed pretty much magical tech.

BSG was just nukes, hot lead, robots, and zero G. Very little technobabble. They even kept the electronic warfare toned down and somewhat respectful.

My vote was cast.

If we were going for the worst Sci-Fi series of all time...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logan%2...28TV_series%29

I was a very young child when that crap was on TV, and it was so bad... My father said I could do something I wasn't allowed to up until that point.

"You can stay up late, but you have to watch this with me."

I took him up on it just once. It was horrible.

I'll vote for anything currently on the SyFy channel. Their entire lineup sucks now.
