We dont need another server right now, we need Velious

I agree with OP. I think that one of the biggest issues on this server is that the content has been static for so long. Talk about "not classic"? Not classic is having this long of a gap between Kunark and Velious. One of the biggest things that drove new players to classic EQ was the constant influx of new content. Ive seen more and more people leave this server because things just arent exciting any more. Oh cool, CT popped, and within three seconds TMO took him down. Oh cool, trak popped, TMO took him down. Im not ragging on TMO here, im just saying that everything is so predictable at this point. A new server is just delaying the inevitable more and more. We need new content, not a new server based on the same old stuff. I respect the devs and all the work they put into this project, but if Velious is taking this long to come out, they should ask for help from the community. There is no shame in that.

Are any of the P99 staff even professional programmers? Especially Nilbog? Because if they're just some laymen that have coding knowledge then it would make it even more understandable that it's taking Velious this long.

Screw velious yet. Maybe the old farts want it who has max geared toons already, but theres plenty of us newer players who want to enjoy the kunark era. New server now will be perfect for us newer players, they don't have to deal with the super twinks ruining the game experience (hello bards etc...)
