I remember this because specifically. He said the same thing when he was elected. Then went back on his word and started going after shops near schools etc.....This happened in Colorado as well.

this. although not because you're going to give a baby 'permaderps' just by smoking near it. because I don't really want some pothead smoking a bowl around my kids when they're going to school. Or at the mall. Not saying legalization is a bad thing at all (because it's not) but I am saying stoners had better follow the law and not start blazing bowls around teenagers and kids. Preserve their innocence, please. And be respectful.

It should be allowed to be smoked wherever cigarettes can be smoked. The only way you could tell a difference, at first glance, between a cig and a joint is just the smell. Plus some places have public smoking bans, so make it you can't smoke weed there either.

Treat it like something between cigs and alcohol is my idea, but since I'm not in Gov't, that thought won't be used.
