Ohhhh, right, right. I feel much better then. I was about to roll a Halfling Pally on a new, non-banned account and have him sneak-hide all over the place, but if they can't move while hidden that kills the buzz.

Sneak is still really useful.
My monk used it constantly when traversing dungeons, pulling, etc. As mentioned before, no success message, but still pretty handy. It was also useful against merchants - "What? You glower at me so I can't trade with you?" ::sneak behind, initiates trade activity with same merchant:: However, it's certainly not more handy (aggregated) than no frontal stun, slam, and really good stats, since you spend more time getting hit than sneaking or deceiving merchants. You're a friggin warrior, after all. | ||

Troll was nice as a noob (HP Regen), but the xp penalty isn't worth the lack of utility you get with an ogre IMO. That's not to say trolls are bad. I loved my troll warrior on live but if I had to do it all over again I'd try ogre next time.

But seriously though... What you gain in Stamina by going Ogre is offset by the negatives. Not fitting into some dungeons and having to ask for shrink. Being KOS in many cities. Plus, if you are one of those folks who believe AC is king, a high starting AGI can give you a nice bonus.

Ogre is best until the extreme high end game (very end Velious), and then Iksar is slightly better/equal.

Innate AC bonuses. Plus, Iksar WAR is just plain badass-looking. But that was my main so I'm admittedly a little biased.
Also, someone above mentioned the downside to playing a big friggin' Ogre. I don't think this can/should be underestimated. Where's all the good loot? In dungeons and cramped spaces. In an emergency situation I want to be a tank who can move about freely and quickly, not get slaughtered by a dozen mobs because I've slammed my head into a torch and can't move. Mobility is key. I'm not taking anything away from Ogres, I just don't think their supposed advantages are as extreme as people tend to think.
