When I create an account, I have a notepad open and I create the information on the notepad and save it before completing the account creation. I copy and paste it when making the account and passwords. That way, there is no room for error and you have saved the passwords.

You also have a list of your password in the event someone ever got into your computer.. Generally not a good idea to keep a notepad of your passwords.
