Where's the option that says no variance with forced rotations?

Pointless to put as option as dev's have said they wont force a rotation.

In my opinion, Nilbog would be in favor of removing variance to make the game more classic, and as long as FTE shouts determined who had the mob even without variance existing, I would think that Rogean wouldn't really care if variance existed or not. I tend to interpret Rogean liking whatever gives him the least biggest headache in terms of sorting out player disputes. No idea what the other GMs would think?

EDIT: Shit who am I kidding, I have no idea what the motives of the staff are and what they would/wouldn't support based on player consensus.

However, in a dream world, which I don't believe would happen because it isn't classic, I would think it would be cool if all the mobs spawned simultaneously at a random time each week. This time would be based off variance. Players would receive a notification of like 30 mins to an hour before it happened maybe via a server wide message? Then everyone would race to the mobs, and the time each week this happened would be random to not screw over Euro people or anyone else in a different time zone from the majority. I want to distinguish that this is different from server repops; I mean this is the only way raid targets would pop. Not sure how this would work for mobs that are a less than 7 day timer like Trak/Maestro.

It's a dream though.

Server repops in off-peak times are probably the best chance for Euro people not in TMO.

EDIT: I have no problems with TMO or its players. I just think it would be cool if more people could compete with them like on repop days. I think many of them seem to like that competition too.

This is just a wild guess on my part but I think the reason there is variance on here, and Nilbog, Rogean, Sirken are so hands off on this is that they have RL jobs, and I would assume families.

Any other method would mean a lot more hands on, ergo, time out of their lives to do this. I think they just don't want to be bothered and I don't blame them. They probably devote a LOT more time to this server than you think the way it is.
