I honestly think we are going to get the server back in the same condition we last had it.

Implementing teams after the fact? Seems really unrogeany. Based on past r99 experience we are stuck with the weird non classic ruleset the blue p99 brain trust came up with based on night terrors of fungi tunics looted and manastones looted out of inventory. Devs made their choice and we are stuck with it.

I think teams are dumb and impossible to be made really reasonably outside of basically disabling faction in freeport and rivervale and allowing city choice at char creation to choose which alliance. Any other start zones really gimp the non Antonica team strongly. The best thing that drops regularly in Faydwer is dwarven work boots, lol.

Other teams combos only sorta make sense from a fantasy perspective but in MY fantasy world I'm gimli and my best bud is legolas and we go and fuck up orcs + have help from our weird evil buddy smeagle. I believe there are good ogres out there, and I wanna be friends with them.

And from a practical stand point I would bet manastones that there would be some odd man out team in any 3+ team scenario that ends up being totally abandoned here anyways with our 120 pop.

Teams are stupid.

HBC? Platinum Skull rings? Earings? Chestplate of Dark Flame? Soulfire drops?

Not to mention the uber newbie quests... in CB, Shiny Brass Shield.

What about Crested Mistimoore sheild?

Jagged bands, 5ac/5str, great for dps on a low hp melee struggling to survive or main dps.

Reed Belt, Bildge?

Tons of quest armor drops in unrest and MM.

Sacrificial Dagger.

Bloodstone Eyepatch.

Small bronze dropping like candy? GL being evil and getting large bronze without connections to people at icebones in Lguk.

Man Faydwer has a ton of good lowbie pvp loot that is great until 50 and super great on an item loot server because theres a ton of it around and its all easy to get at 40+

The reason evils rule though is binding in Grobb, Guk, CT, and Neriak near solb for mithral arms, and naggy, and giants. And the best plat in game SolA.

And everyone min maxes ogres. Just give every melee slam (except monks) and make it a bonus only for shams. Thats the big reason noobs don't roll smaller tanks. Not to mention its not hard to click click click bash, interupt gate, kill. It's totally doable. Especially if in joust mode so your never wasting autoattacks anyway.

Ya runlvlzero DWB's superior to all those.

I'm not saying there isn't stuff in faydwer, but its generally a step below antonica stuff, and odus has almost nothing until the hole and most of that stuff is kinda filler before velious stuff.
