If classic re-spawn times are the latest excuse for the inability to PvP your way to a dragon kill victory, why is it that there is NEVER a contest for Trak & Draco which are on a 3-day timers?

A better suggestion might be to find a game where instances guarantee you a chance at raid mobs - since the whole PvP model of winning the right to fight a raid mob isn't working out so well for you.

nah ffa servers are always doomed to fail this way. all new players and poopsockers flock to one guild. pretty much happens on all ffa pvp games.

I hope you understand why your guild is being uncontested. You had 35+ on the last 3 raids I've seen you in. You had 41 for trak. When velious comes out a lot you will have 55+. The gear gap between kunark and velious will be insane and if nothing is done by then this server will die. If you or anyone in nilly do not see this then you are delusional.

There just isn't enough people, plain and simple. If there was there would be room for two strong guilds to fight, as it is the dedicated raiders are in the one dedicated raiding guild that has its pants on. It is possible to change that.

There is a ton of awesome stuff in velious that everyone can get their hands on. Velious will close the gear gap more than anything and make a lot of kunark level stuff obsolete with easier to attain, superior gear.

I don't want to go into velious with all of the same broken junk we have now though. It would be nice for at least one era of the game to be spared all of the flaws we have had since beta.

The change you suggest (adding variance to spawn times) does absolutely nothing to address the issue - which you say is the Nihilum numbers. When a mob spawns has zero effect (or at most a negligible effect) on who in Nihi logs on to kill it.

The fix, as always, comes right back around to the opposition learning how to work together as a team in some way. That is the one and only cure to the "problem" and it has been this way since day one. Or at least since month three, when I started here.
