Also, all the people who think this is "racist" think it is because zimmerman "looks white" or some shit, are totally missing the point. Zimmermans race is not what is at issue. Had Trayvon been white, this whole thing would have looked much different.

SYG wouldn't have even come into play because Zimmerman was simply following him in order to lead the police to him. Still would have been self defense, stupid.

Do you think it will save him?

I hope not. I like the idea of him being attacked in the night by random ninjas out for vengeance.

what is most fucked up to me is that even if the RnF-bigot version of this story is true, Trayvon would have been the one protected under SYG, but he is dead, so can't defend himself.
trayvon wasn't charged with a crime

and he'd have a tough time arguing that zimmerman following him was reasonable justification for violent self defense, including continuing to pin zimmerman to the ground and hit his head against the sidewalk after subduing him

but he'd at least have a case for SYG, yes

for some reason, people think trayvon is on trial here. he's not. it's possible that BOTH parties acted within their rights. there are scenarios in which two parties can both be acting in self defense based upon a reasonable apprehension of danger. it's all about a reasonable perception of danger, not who was right or wrong.

zimmerman being acquitted doesn't mean trayvon was found guilty of anything

#1 the police told him to stop that
#2 he had a loaded weapon, that is never "simply following him," that is "following him while carrying a loaded weapon," regardless of legal language.
#3 if you follow me, im gonna start a fight or chase you off. if that is NOT illegal, it absolutely should be. many laws are unjust and many injustices are not illegal.

I think it will save him b/c the majority of his attackers will be holding their gun sideways like a "gangster"
Do I really need to ignore another one of your accounts?

Trayvon was trespassing in a gated community. Mind blown yet?

By the way, a dispatcher is not "the police." Nor is following someone against any laws.

If you go into a retail store and security decides to follow you for whatever reason - it's too fucking bad.
