I prefer Luck-lin

Qeynos was a mystery as a kid I pronounced it Kwee-nos (nose with a soft s)

wasnt until I think eq2 when they added in voice mods and i heard it spoken Key-nos

Erudite was another tricky one when i first heard it, i was like 12 =p

think i called them err-uh-dites

it will always be luck-lin to me, loose-lin just sounds stupid. and frankly offensive to be calling that poor girl lynn loose...

Looslin not Lucklin

Like Lucid, or Lucy. You don't pronounce it Luckid or Lucky.

At least thats how I see it.
I could see Luke-lin. Luclin is named for Sir Lucan, which like the King Arthur character is pronounced with a K, not an S, sound.

But in my mind, the extra consonant between the vowels should change the pronunciation. So, no long U. Luck-lin.

Definitely not Loose-anything.

whats more important is how do you pronounce chocobo, ive heared at least 4 or 5 different pronunciations.

mines really weird but ive been saying it this way since i was a kid playing ff3 on the SNES. i say

chalk - a - boo (but without the l sound in chalk)

ive heard cho ko boe

choke a boe

ect

Loose-lin? There are two consecutive consonants in Luclin, therefore it'd be either luck-lin or look-lin. For the english language both would fall under the rules.

Not the worst butchering of an expansion I've heard tho. When Velious first came out I had a friend constantly call it "Velashious". I had no flipping clue what he was talking about, and thought he was having a stroke.
