Unless you plan to 3 man royals or duo fungi for the next year dropping 600k+ on the BP seems a bit excessive =/

Usually all for free economy but these BPs are an area where I wish TMO would open the guild bank to make purchases more accessible given how long the shit has been farmed.. at the same time I understand that members buying them from their bank is an incentive to get people to keep raiding.

What's the chance of a donal's dropping off trak? 1 in 6 maybe? And he spawns only once every 3 days on average? Even over the course of 2 years of him being killed, that's still fewer than 50 donal's BPs on the whole server. And how many of those are on inactive accounts? On accounts that got banned? And it's the single most powerful item on the server, probably, or at least one of the top 3. And even after it eventually gets nerfed at some point in the future, it will STILL be an amazing item (imo). 400 mana (less a few med ticks during cast time) saved every few minutes on a tank? Plus free CHs for shamans or necros or whatever? Etc etc.

As far as 600k for this BP... meh. I spent 400k on my stupid RoA and all I do with that are beat up lowbie mobs and sky trash [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

A lot of truth in that and I did not consider how many probably exist in reality. At the same time, RoA is an example of something that justifies it's value given that it doesn't drop anymore... just like a pre-nerf fungi, guised accounts etc.

A donal's BP is like 2 bard epics in cost. I don't know how you clerics can live when I got my best in slot trak BP for 60K.
