Since the mobs are always heading directly towards you if you have a faster run speed you can run a circle around them of a specific size that keeps you just out of melee but in song range. Finding that sweet spot though is rather difficult and as stated a tiny bit of lag means you die in addition to things taking 15 minutes to finish.

Personally though I feel that if you're gonna AE kite you should pull a lot more mobs than this. You're dead if you get in melee range anyway and the time is the same regardless. I would have added in all the gnoll spawns, centaurs, etc. Anything that doesn't cast spells.

Lol Yes this is real guys no programs, even Rogean came to check it out to see for himself. Bono said he gains a yellow every pull, however each pull takes like 20mins total. Between rounding it all up, getting it bunched together and then killing them. He also said he dies every now and then too from lag, even 1 second spike of lag = death, when you 30 things on you lol. It looks fun but yeah, really risky and need to practice it alot before you can pull it off easily like Bono does.

Do the Aviaks have smaller hit boxes than giant scarabs and giant spiders? I can't seem to get this down, I literally run smaller and smaller circles around those, and cannot hit them unless I am within their hit range.

Tried kiting for the first time in SK last night. I have a lvl 23 almost 24 bard and I couldnt get it efficiently. I didnt die but it took way too long and I was only kiting four mobs tops. Just couldnt find the sweet spot to get the dot to land and not get hit and stunned most of the time.

I had a ton of HP gear, and kiting 20+ mobs I usually had one round of hits worth of a buffer zone before they dropped me. If I made a mistake and got hit/stunned, I had to get out of their range immediately and twist in healing song with a lute for a while to heal before attempting it again. That's part of the patience... A really good place to start is gfay - I found that grabbing non-caster orcs and the willowisps that spawn near the newb lift and near felwithe were good practice before I went to NK. Also, Beetles (even the giant ones), Griffawns, Bears, and Cats mostly have average hit boxes and are great kiting material. Lions have big hit boxes for some reason, I avoid them. I've heard Crag Spiders have big hit boxes too, but haven't tried them yet.
