It seems a little unstructured and chaotic, which is why most people don't play on free servers. A plan and an official policy would go a long way in convincing the public that this project is a serious undertaking that will be reliable. I'll personally try to recruit more nice players from old EQ.
You're not doing anyone any favors.

Everyone knows that a project can't be taken seriously unless it generates serious volumes of TPS reports. And that's WITH the new cover sheets, thank you very much.
give me back my stapler.

Ah, am I to understand that it's the code that's not done? That's a different issue. Then it would be nice to see some kind of update though.

I'm sure you would all agree that one of the main things both Sony and Verant did wrong was to have little contact with the community and give little information out as to what is going on. Little communication back and forth to the actual users.

This is EXACTLY like classic.

Nothing has changed in 10 years, sorry.

More time communicating means less time working on code :\

If you need proof, may I direct you here.

Alright. Just saying. I'm a man with a plan, if the rest of you long-haired hippies don't care to discuss timelines, I guess I won't either [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

By the way, is there a need for more developers? I'd be happy to go to work on stuff.

Look around the forums and you'll see countless posts by the Devs, Guides, and Project Managers. Aeolwind and Bumamgar have been actively participating in 2 threads this morning concerning the new XP adjustments.

A quick search would also have got you to posts by Rogean et al explaining the many obstacles that Kunark is posing, and why it is optimistic to hope for a fall release.

However if you simply want to plug your ears and rail against an all volunteer staff for not setting up a daily conference call with each individual user, go ahead. You won't make a ton of friends though.

I was told in game today by another player that by there time line Kunark should be coming out 3-4 months after Sky, and Sky was supposed to be out a month ago. So apparently already a month or so behind what they expecting. The guy I talked to said he thinks itll be around Dec / Jan when Kunark comes out, but no one is really sure. And don't quote me on this, I am just going by what someone in game told me =)
