some of my favorits
1. Circus Maximus - God I loved this game when I would go to LA cons in my twenties. 2. civilization < not computer game>- one game I remember took use over 10hrs to finis 6 players started Friday night ended 10 am sat. 3. Avalon hill game where you traded stuff along galaxy routes could upgrade your ship with weapons etc etc. cant rem its name fun as hell. 4. Not many probably heard of this one INSECTA I use to run this at conventions and always had a blast we had a board that was 4 ' x 4' . 5. Talisman of course 6. GW game I believe where you drew tiles to make dungeon as you moved trying to reach the treasure room. You have a small selection of heroes you could select each with his own abilities and minatures. | ||

there are like hundreds of good board games, with a few dozens absolute awesome.
among my favorites: Chaos in the Old World Ticket to Ride Dungeon Pets Twilight Struggle Citadels my own modified version of Descent etc
