I see the point after I read their FAQ. They openly admit that vanilla stuff isn't working like it should be in TBC, but there focus is soley on TBC content. Said that in the future they will work on old content (maybe even open a vanilla server), but for now the focus is on TBC. Which would put people at lvl 58 to really start on the content anyway.

Sucks you get insta-bumped to it, but I think it's better than having to deal with broken/missing content.

To be fair all those are just cosmetic fun things and 2 mounts.. Unless I am missing a page.

As long as raid gear / stuff you really care about in the long run aren't buyable, it's ok. And if it keeps the server a live too.

Only problem I see is them doing this and Blizzard taking them to court. To me it gives extra reason for the server to just get squashed real fast at any time.

Yeah I hadn't seen the actual market. Just heard about buying things, assumed gear. Assuming it just stays to cosmetic BS I give 0 fucks. May have hope for this server yet. Also, starting at 58, so close to my precious steady shot... :3

So much of your information is wrong, from everybody.

Everything donation is cosmetic, the 2 mounts as well don't give you epic riding skill in game, it still has to be farmed. It's a private server, the mount you sit on in Shat is so important.

It's optional 58, with a lengthy quest line involved to even get that instant 58.

There seems to be a solid player base that will try out going from 1, but just like The Rebirth or Quality Gaming, any server that seems to start you from 1 with increased rates or not fails. Optional 58 allows a continuous flow to the end game. Private servers, WoW especially, have an extremely high turn over/burn out rate.

This does have the hype to be the first TBC server that has a large enough population to fully support a 3's Arena team. It's scripted, unlike Feenix, and those 40$ bear mounts are going to pay for solid DDoS protection.

vanilla wow was the best, tbc was good but arenas were dumb and killed world pvp. the old honor system was the best part about wow.
