I had the opposite issue, a lvl 7 sk asked me to do a transfer he switched to his main which was a 40ish shaman, he gave me 15k and 2 bags. i couldnt do the trade because I had already had an fbss on me, he asked if i could give his low lvl char my fbss and hed log on and give me his for me to use.

He was giving me 15k 2 weight resist bags and a fungi to transfer, I figured if he could trust me I could trust him. So we did it i gave the alt the fbss and when he came back on his main to give me the fbss he threw in 1k, I cancelled as i didnt want it buthe refused to give me my fbss without a 1k tip.

Happened to me a week or two ago. Guy tried to get me to give him money and said he was my guild leader. I keep hearing stories from people not falling for this but I wonder if this scammer, or set of scammers has actually made any real plat doing this. Total scumbags.

A damn good question, I've been looking all over but can't find whether its part of some mock YouTube video or something else.
