The graphics are prolly the best any MMO has ever had. The tradeskill system is pretty revolutionary and the naval combat is truly awesome.

It's very button mashy with some classes, and lacks the skill of EQ's pvp system. Allot of Rock, Paper, Scissor's with class balance. It's allot more balanced than WoW in the sense that there aren;t any flavor of the month op classes. But if you get two people on you within a 5 lvl range your toast. Unlike Eq where you can fight a few people, and dunk on them.

Resist system is bad, they have only physical, and magic resist, so every CC effect lands, it's absorb not resist based system like wow.

This sums it up pretty nicely. The naval combat is a fuckin blast.

Its not entirely different from any game that has come out lately. Its just more Korean, which means that the time sink is very present and this time they placed it in PVP and Crafting/housing. In hardcore Korean games like Lineage II, it was all about the time sink of leveling forever.

Gonna surprise you here, there are levels after 50 on this server. And eq starts the same way that it ends for the most part. From what you guys are saying is that aa holds your hand until 30 followed by a fun game.

AA doesn't get interesting till 30 plus, Eq doesn't get interesting till 50+

Saying you don't have time to lvl to 30 in game that isn't even 1/10th the time-sink of EQ is alil downzy.

EQ 50+ doesn't change all that much. It's relatively the same game and this server has an insane exp modifier when you group. Not gonna plow my way through a boring game in the hopes that I'll like it's end game.
