Best combo with a Necromancer is a Shaman in my opinion. You can both DoT, shaman can regen you, and you can heal the shaman while she canni's. Good DoT synergy also
But with that said, Necro and Monk are a great duo. It has already been noted but should be said again, fear kiting as a melee is about the most pain in the a$$ thing there is to do. Would honestly be better off with another pet class (Enchanter/mage/2ndNecro). Shaman would be the best choice though.

Monk for sure.
Rogues are my jam, but they're super fragile and far more situational than monks, and the ability for you both to feign off a bad pull or a cluster of adds, if only for avoiding frustration and convenience of play, is immeasurable.

I'd do monk too ^^ Rogue is definitely able for ravage from behind, but lacks the durability and utility of a monk. Also, lizards are gross, she doesn't have to be one even though that is the goto race for 99% of monks. Be a proud part of the 1% ^^

Monk is WAY more fun than rogue. Get some good weapons and by the time she gets double attack, she's gonna feel like a kung fu master. It's pretty awesome.

Monk all the way as has been said. You absolutely do not need to fear kite.
A necro using pact of dark empathy -> shadow compact -> pact of shadow -> shadowbond and tapping back hp can keep a monk healed easily while grinding. Let the pet take a few hits and use its innate regen to further reduce downtime.
