Yeah this article is bullshit I have intimate knowledge of this system. They leave demented people to die in puddles of shit and gangrene in trailers at home and driving around meth addled at age 80 with guns and gocarts all the fuckin time. Even my dad still lives in his trailer, G-d knows how he's getting food. I would take care of the problem, the country is fucked tho. I also know of plenty old folks abandoned by their families going insane in isolation and when they do lose their freedom and shit and go to a ALF they come back happy and get privileges. And don't die alone. Plenty of families are just shit and you can't kill them all. Cuz of fucking stupid laws. Anyway its their loss financially and old persins gain in having friends around them while they die. Even if they lose the property. And even with dementia the compliant ones can come and go as they please and they get checked up on and found if they get lost and confused.

I literally live here in one of those over 60 cities and literally know tons of nurses who work at all the different ALFs, hospices, nursing homes here. Granted some are shit. They are better than nothing. And society collapsing. And it's insurance that still fucks it all up.
