He is mocked relentlessly. Despite his best efforts to inform them of the truth, no one will believe him.

This eventually consumes his waking moments and he is honorably discharged.

I got into touch with Bugs around a decade later, he was very difficult to track down. He is now " Babs Bunny " and is living in a polyamorous relationship with two hillbillies from upstate vermont.

The diseases were probably not the primary cause. Ppl who become stressed and depressed or suffer trauma die from pneumonia alllll the time in hospitals. Arguably "the safest place to be "....

I bet other environment factors at play.

Malnutrition. Exposure. Poisoning. Exhaustion. Even parasites.
