Where is the dividing line between scrambles and climbs? Real question. Are you only a climber if you use gear and/or are hanging onto stuff by yer fingertips? And what sorta climbing are you doing? Gym or what? I used to do a lot of scrambling or climbing around Red Rock, NV. Involves pretty fun maneuvers like pressing across both sides of a tube shaped shaft to slowly descend. I rly like the thrill of heights [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] here's my really hot friend J the football star going through a crevasse we went through on acid. I used to initiate wrestling with him even tho I stood no chance - ha ha boy fun. It was real claustrophobic and I had this sense of impending doom like an earthquake was gonna squash me. this day involved some gnarly stuff like jumping huge pits from rock to rock. luv it. I used to climb 3 days a week at a climbing gym years ago. Was probably the most fun physical activity outside of my skateboarding. However, ripping my hard earned callus's from the gym always sucked.
Anyways, one day climbing i dislocated my shoulder and fell straight to my back on the bottom mat. Luckily i wasn't high, but the fall popped my shoulder back in.. Months later after it was healed, i tried to climb again.. The second i had to make a touch reach, it popped out instantly. That was the end to my climbing.. That being said Cen- I know you just started, but is popping ur shoulder out normal for climbers? And how can i fix/stop it from happening? That shit hurts. https://www.stonegardens.com/bellevue/default.aspx

oh oh I forgot, when I was a little kid there was this place called Gameworks, a huge arcade with pretty unique multiplayer games and stuff, like there was a Formula 1 game where there was actually an attendant and he'd commentate the games and congrat the winner. It also had some really early "vr"; there was a street fighter or mortal kombat controller adaptation where a camera watched you and you'd throw a punch to throw a punch etc. I remember tix to get in there were only $15. This was back when Vegas was still trying to be a Family Destination.
Anyway there was a 50 or 60 foot climbing wall that went up through this 3-story building. There was some sort of reward if you climbed it; can't remember. I scaled that fucker at like 10 years old, definitely pre-everquest for me, with mom cheering me on & everybody was floored. one of my dearest memories. indoor climbing is rly fun .

We have a place in Houston that is unlimited games the last Friday night of every month and they have a bar right next door that they let you bring drinks in from. My wife and I go probably every other month and battle each other in street fighter. It’s hilarious watching the millennials not know what to do about Kaveh and Nazanin in their middle age out drinking and out dunking on them in street fighter. God I love this town
