Did the same on my main machine. No difference.

Installed it on my 9 year old laptop (figure it's hardware related), can actually see the loading screen, music playing, bar fills up, "You have been disconnected" screen pop up instead of char select. I'm going crazy.

What graphics card/cpu are you using?

Tried everything, clean install, followed steps in order, checked fix, I have an Amd 6core and nvidia gtx 460. I wonder if its a problem with the processor.

did you check fix EQconfig.ini when you run EQW ?

also dose anyone know how to fix the bazzar when you search everything up for a bazillion platinum and you cant inspect items

the disconected msg you are getting is either an anti-virus or firewall one or the other is casuing that. I was having the exact same problem.

Turned off windows firewall, have no AV on my notebook cus I replaced the harddrive a while ago after it had been fried for months, so it's a pretty clean XP install. Forwarded all ports in eqhost.txt. Still getting disconnected.

I am stuck at the login screen. "Establishing connection with login server". I have my firewall turned off.

I am running win xp sp3.

EDIT: It works after I turned off peerblock.
