I feel like no one really figured out how to get the Ancient Cyclops to spawn in S RO on my server. It seemed more like a dumb luck exclusive. Also I may be misremembering, but I feel like I got mine during the day time while I was just randomly running through the zone. I say this because I was a human monk without night vision, and I remember being like OMG I can't believe what I'm seeing and wasn't even sure if I could solo it or not but tried anyways and realized it was actually pretty weak.

But on P99 AC is a night time mob exclusive? It could have been night time when I killed him a million years ago, but I don't feel like it was or that I even would have saw him due to being so blind and having no concept of turning gamma up or anything like that. I remember I was going to GUK specifically to camp gator scale leggings since they were considered one of the best items in the game for monks at the time.

It’s not a nighttime exclusive mob - it spawns at night then waits to be killed. It is feasible to be up during the day. That said, it will suicide against a dark elf merchant before too long.

Prexus server I happened upon an AC roaming, engaged on druid. Dots snare etc. A chanter (that I knew squat about) popped into existance, let me kill it to ≈8%, mez/memblur then killed it.
I asked why and how KS?

So after making a ranger it is even easier to get since you only need a ranger now. But you now have to deal with certain people hogging the spawn like they do in OOT to sell loot rights.
