so elon musk did a thing with jay leno and in it he says his plan is to send 100k people to mars every 2 years.

And that with 1 million people that they would be "self sustaining" and thats his goal.

So basically his plan is to just shovel people onto an icey desert planet and let fate work it all out.

Its a lot like most of his buisness plans, like heavy investment, and then he assumes it will all work out, the boaring company, the AI car company, he has these like, huge visions, and then when they dont work out he just shrugs it off.

Well thsi time when it doesn't work out thats a million dead people lol.
