What's the point of having a discussion if people won't be open to change or learning something new.
Because some people are? Plenty of people itt and in this off-topic subforum generally are open to change and learning new things. Not everyone certainly, who cares though?

So to recap: The dems still aren't offering any solution other than essentially "guns are bad". Meanwhile a gun stopped the guy from killing even more people. How do we solve that fundamental problem as a matter of public policy?

Like I mentioned before, I don’t have a huge problem changing it to be 21 to own a gun. I think it’d be a little fuckin weird that you can be given a gun to go shoot people and die for your country before then but not own one yourself, that’s weird as shit but whatever

Most males are morons well into their early 20’s, definitely at 18. I’m trying to think of who this change would hurt the most. Probably honesty a law-abiding minority living alone in the hood who moved out from parent’s home and needs a means to defend themselves from getting jumped or home invaded. But then would they really have the money to buy that gun at 18 anyway, and if they didn’t they could always get one from the black market

But changing the law to purchase a gun to 21 I would not riot over

That's because you don't think enough.

- I would poison the well the ensure people like unsung are never able to own a firearm and make it illegal if they do, because of some made-up issue like "mental health". I will get those guns one way or another. I mean if you were willing, in unsungs case more than willing, to give up rights then whats wrong with giving up more, you don't want to be a senseless idiot do you? you don't want to murder Grandma do you? no so give me those for your own mental well-being and safety.

The adults are in the room.

You know who I don’t like is that my pillow guy. A long time ago I heard him on the radio talking about his crack addiction and making the first my pillow all strung out with his son in the kid’s garage because he was living in flop houses. Now he’s influencing politics? Yikes man

Groomers last week: "Killing babies is in The Constitution!"

Groomers this week: "Kids were killed! Repeal The Constitution!"

These kids were both born and documented, that is the reason I think. It doesn't count if there are no documents.

Trump bootlickers didn't care much about the Constitution when he tried to disrupt the transfer of power and have Pence killed.
