-1 John 2:23 Which strangely is correlated to John 2:23-25: Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name. But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.

How are those versus designed to be fit together. You’re saying Jesus did not confess himself so is without the father? Interesting. I’m not sure why you’re telling that to some giant forest dinosaur bird in a thread about masks.

John 2:23-25 clearly states otherwise, as does Wisdom of Solomon chapters 1 and 2, so (s)he is essentially making an appeal towards a concept that cannot be substantiated; and given the sordid history of Humanity's "decency" at work, we're going to have to side with the empirical evidence that it does not. Christ is "The Word" that God, the being that willed the material plane into existence, uses to make meaning of thought which would otherwise just be a formless incohesive blob, and subsequently using "Word"s without Christ essentially leaves whatever you God-less heathens have to say meaningless. Quoting words of other godless heathens is thereby meaningless as well, by extension. So, Provide actual proof; not the words of the Word-less, for they have no potency.

Off-topic is simply chugging along as normal; Jesus, politics, trans stuff, covid. Don't question the formula.
