Marriage is archaic anyways. It was created by the Church as a way to make money and have more control over people. Nowadays it's perversely warped into something like a mutual destruction pact on the ending of a relationship.

I suppose that's to say, you don't need a marriage to have a meaningful relationship and sex. In the same way you don't need religion to be spiritual or believe in God.

Anyways, humans aren't strictly monogamous. 50% of all marriages end in divorce even with all the pressure to keep together 'for the kids'. You're deluded if you think the 'traditional family' is the natural human state.
