i agree with this, that way GMs dont hear about training and greifing and everyone already knows what they are getting into when they make a lvl 1 char

VZTZ towards the end dealt with it well. If you had a fraps of someone training they got suspended until gms stopped GMing. Just make sure the suspension is hefty enough and since two boxing wont be allowed and exp is going to be rougher it wont be as easy to hop on your alt and play like nothing happened.

There was an sk on vztz that kept training and fearing mobs while some low lvl newbs and alts tried exping. He got suspended for 30 days which i think is appropriate but he was just able to log onto his epic druid

I already said it, but VZ/TZ is the way to go. Item loot only encourages people to roll casters as they still have most of their attack ability while naked, melee and hybrids lose all their attack ability without gear. Item loot rewards the poopsockers who are too lazy to poopsock for gear.

Also hacks + cheats need to be dealt with seriously: Training, Warping, other hacks. With 30 day IP suspensions on first violation of rules. Permanent IP for 2nd violation.

Put it up on beta for a few weeks and have people test out or use hacks so countermeasures can be developed before it goes live.

I loved EQ PvP during classic & Kunark and would kill to go back to it. But not if I can't be assured that everyone is playing fairly. Without those assurances I bet server population at peak times will run sub 100.

youre never assured in a pvp environment. learn to live with it, less headaches.

A smart melee would stock up on resist gear. Id love to see a lvl 50 wizard trounce a lvl 50 warrior decked out in resist gear.

Most people left vztz because it was boring and destined to flatline.

But I must say, not having to redo full raid buffs every 30 minutes, being able to afk whenever you want, and having a flourishing community on p99 helps [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
