I cant even imagine how long it must take to put these together, but keep up whatever youre doing cuz the care you put into making this really shows. I find myself rewatching them over and over catching things i missed. And im using them to try and recruit friends to jump on the p99 bandwagon also. Im officially addicted! Please never stop making these! ❤

I also have a ton of respect for your gamestyle. Theres so much about EQ thats special other than the acquisition of uber pixels. The old world low-mid level zones are so well designed and really scratch the nostalgia itch for me, but trying to get a group in Guk even is a major challenge these days. Hope to meet more likeminded adventureres such as yourself as i continue in my travels through Norrath!

They probably just went through items tagged as "quest items" that had no actual quests attached and made something up for the new expansion. Devs already said a few years ago that there are no unsolved old quests/etc. Everything was completed.

Well, according to here: https://www.everquest.com/news/resto...-february-2017

They have restored the quests (not sure what that means - unfinished on the dev side, maybe?). Many of the items have been in the game since at least 2002 (probably earlier) but no one ever figured out what they were for. The stats are in line for high end Kunark items as well. I'm thinking they could actually be legit.

This is not really new. As in, this has been dropping for a long time. Prolly since Kunark came out. Its just that nobody seems to know what its for. Its obviosly a quest item. but seems to have no quest for it.

I am starting to believe that these were in the original expansion, however the many revamps in several Kunark zones actually broke them. There are new entries on Alla for various items that drop in zones that have undergone changes (City of Mist, Chardok), although there are also odd additions I don't quite understand just yet (rusty mithril sword from Phinny in Kedge?!).

Edit 2: Here's an example of what I'm finding -
Quest: The Righteous Order http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/q...tml?quest=8464
requires a Sphere of Primal Elements from a froglok krup mage in Sebilis - earliest comment on the item page is from 2002, but the earliest on the mob page is actually from 2001 (post-Luclin) and he was dropping the sphere even then.
Then another item required is Globe of the Thoughtful Mind, dropped by a named in Mines of Nurga (a revamped zone on live)
Then we have Firefly Candle (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=56361), which apparently used to drop before and now drops again in TT from a Night Warder (not sure if TT was revamped or changed)
The various other items are not well-commented otherwise, or were added after the patch when they were discovered (re-discovered?)

The mystery videos are wonderful. You are a good storyteller.

I would love if you made a video series on the History of Norrath. With all of this Everquest knowledge, you could do a very entertaining retelling of some of the more interesting stories in the lore. And point to evidence or notable details in the game.

I would watch a full video of just the Cazic Thule story you mention briefly in the first mystery video.
