Assuming ranger's dodge skill is being effected the same way as defense skill ?

Wait, Gfay works as well? Hell yeah Tolan's BP. I think the key here is *WHY* are these zones causing the client to accept a change in skill numbers? I still want to do some parsing but it seems quite clear that if I get that last 10 points of my offensive skills "fixed" I suddenly start hitting any and all mobs harder and more often, parsing right near rogues and monks. It made sense when it was just Cobalt Scar as it's clearly a Velious zone and would potentially flag the character as a later timeline, but then all Velious zones should have corrected the bug issues. Since GFay also works then that throws that theory out the window.

I have only noticed offensive skills since they are at the top of the skill list but will confirm when I get home.

10 points of offense should be, what 20-30 ATK? That's maybe 3% more damage. Human brains are not capable of accurately detecting that level of change in highly random data, which is why we invented the field of statistics. Go parse it sir.

It is indeed strange. I took a quick stab at searching the P99 patch notes and I guess maybe Kanras was most involved here (he once nerfed Paladin/SK pre-50 skillcaps).

P.S. When will you make Awakened let you tank some NTOV dragons?!

Cannot confirm this works in Gfay. Zoned into Gfay and had no change of numbers in offensive or defensive skills. Anyone else have luck with this zone?

I wonder what is coded that results in CS setting cap to 252.

Perhaps the client is confused by our zone name acronym and thinks that CS == Customer Service?

[Not at all intending to be harsh to the wonderful people who bring us this emulator, btw.. Just trying to take a light hearted approach and deflate the frustration and annoyance over this detail. My paladin is very sad about it, after all, lol.]

It's the time client notices you have a CS tooth and says "oh crap, velious enabled, better up those skill caps!"
