A pretty simple common tactic is to make outrageous claims, and then expect the populace to get caught up in the fervor just because they fear something to be true.

Because then he couldn't parade around on the forums like the jackass he is, followed by the naive, continually touting his totally legit evidence and proof and information that he doesn't actually have.

This Zipzop dumbfuck will leave as soon as people quit giving him attention. If I start making claims about having info on RMT, can I be a celebrity on an emulator for a fifteen year old game? You guys don't actually care about credibility or anything like that so it shouldn't be a problem if I don't know anything about the Platlord thing.

For fuck's sakes I've only been playing again for like 3 days and I'm sick to death of seeing him post in every thread to do with RMT about his SOUPER SEKRIT INFORMATION. It's nothing to do with the health of the server, it's all about his ego and his status as a server celebrity. That's all he cares about. That's what it's been from the start, how he can profit from this situation. If he really cared about anyone or anything other than how he's going to profit from this thing we wouldn't be talking about this right now.

I'm increasingly of the opinion that the best way to enjoy P99 is not to check the P99 forum.... I do it to myself though, every day. Gotta check on the latest WWE type storylines running in the forums.

Eh, I have the forums and a stream (ESA atm but usually Sirken if he's streaming) going on my other monitor, gives me something to do while I wait 10 years on my mana to regen.
