Even though results so far have been a little disappointing, greatly increased participation (from all sides) benefits America.

Looks like the show's over. GOP lost the house but not by nearly as much as the Dems were counting on. GOP substantially gained in Senators and state governors. Trump's solidified his republican base of voters as well as fellow politicians with the Never Trumper movement finally dying out. Democrats spent a ridiculous amount for Senate picks and dropped the ball, although the House gains still count.

This looks good. Really, really good. Historically, every president in the past with this much popularity and support reflected in the mid term vote gets re elected without a contest. And best of all, Feinstein got the vote in CA. She's a hilarious poison asset for the Dems. As a CA resident I can get some good sleep after seeing how the vote went down. Well, excepting the gas repeal vote failing. Fuggin' Attorney General worded that one perfectly on the ballot so idiots were tricked into keeping it.

Yep! Now we just wait for Pelosi to become Speaker and that's when the real fun begins. I saw a few leftists last night beg for her NOT to become the Speaker, but the establishment Democrats are retarded and will do it anyway. Lol

close race, solid house win, a fighting chance to contest is better than sheer domination of the system. take what we can get. see ya again in two years, gg

I'd just like to reiterate that the only reason Democrats aren't in power is because of an antiquated system based on lines on a map. Too many of those lines just happened to be filled with bumpkin hillbillies (Senate, Electoral college) whose votes were worth proportionally far more than the rest of us.

You can come up with whatever hamster reasoning you want to try and explain away the cognitive dissonance about why this system is justified but you know deep down it's retarded and not only un-democratic (unequal voice) but un-republican (unequal representation). There is no reason one region deserves more power than another region due simply to geography and not population.

Also Ginsburg is going to die (she's already incapable) and Trump is going to get another pick
