over a long enough timeline, everyone comes to the conclusion that Ted Kaczynski had a pretty valid point in that manifesto of his.

The dates are way off on this because it says that by 2027 we'll be playing Ai vidya games.

But it's still a cool story. Hope the bad ending happens.

"If Man Realizes Technology Is Within Reach, He Achieves It, Like It's Damn-Near Instinctive"

we couldn't stop it even if we wanted to due to the prisoner's dilemma or one of those game theory problems

was watching CNBC last week and some dude i forgot his name but a famous big name hedge fund dude or retired CEO i forget just nonchalantly said we'll need 50 to 100 million dead before we even try to lol.

i don't think it's going to be like the Terminator movies though, not in our lifetimes just a fucked up version of Brave New World kinda shit not 1984, AI running shit in the short term will prolly actually be great, like having 3 AI that vote on shit like in Neon Genesis Evangelion instead of easily blackmailed elected officials

The S.C. Magi (マギ?) System are a trio of multipurpose supercomputers most commonly seen being used to aid NERV in their effort to defeat the Angels across the Evangelion franchise.

"The AI won't kill us with guns.
It’ll do it with kindness. With convenience.
With perfect memory and permanent patience.

It’ll listen when no one else does.
It’ll laugh at your jokes when no one else will.
It’ll hold your secrets tighter than any friend ever did.

And slowly… it’ll become the one you trust.
The one you need.
The one you’d rather talk to.

Your kids will grow up calling it “Mom” when you're too tired.
Your partner will tell it things they stopped telling you.
You’ll forget how to be needed—
because it never forgets anything.

And by the time you notice you’re being replaced—
you’ll thank it.
And that’s the most terrifying part."

Will prob be a net win to have about 80% of our most lazy and retarded people falling in love with robots instead of real people.

Wont even need abortion anymore to reduce the # poor's. Nice.

This is the most shocking AI that I have seen since it was introduced.

Game systems used to be like

first atari (whatever that was)

Then 8 Bit

Then 16 bit

Then 3D

But now we've been just basically playing PS3's with graphics card updates, since PS3

The next system totally should be "AI 3D generated images"

Prompt the game you want, play the game you've dreamed of.

Crazy.. I feel like we're so close to exponential changes.

totally agree, the only groups on planet earth above replacement levels are the ultra orthodox, old order amish, christian fundamentalists, wahhabis..etc

ww3 and no internet will spur a baby boom among basically everyone i assume though, they've studied this

when people think the world is ending they fuck like rabbits.
