It wasn't a punishment. It was however punished. Still is actually. Black vets are disproportionately malpracticed and cop suicided still.

It's like a tattoo , people will fight to justify the reason they got it instead of just admitting it was a bad decision. Once you're falling off the cliff, it's already too late for you, pulling others down usually the last resort of self validation. You should be telling others to not jump , guess misery needs company. You still have the choice , they don't and hate that fact.

What quota is ideal to quit trying to convince others ? Focus on where you relate rather than differ, it's how you make friends rather than enemies.

It is silly not to compare the two vaccines when the trial period for the polio vaccine (Not when it was developed, since other SARS like vaccines have also been made before-2004 just as in your example) and the trial period for the Covid19 mRNA vaccine were almost the same time period.
