Maybe we should just add variance to everything!
A 27-minute spawn should have an 18-minute variance! All vendors should have a 60% variance on prices that changes each time you open the window. A 675-damage nuke should really do like 250-1000 damage! Paralyzing Earth should last 1-5 minutes. Jeremy should have a 4-16 inch penis.

Don't compete. It's not worth it.
If you BDA folks keep it up, you'll change from seemingly and self described "casual" folks to loot obsessed TMO clones. Check your /played and ask yourself if most of those DAYS were Fun or work? Seems like too many people are making it work. TMO, I think you guys are pure idiots for not starting a rotation. Why fight so hard for 80% of the raid content when you guys could easily get probably 60% in a merit based rotation? I know all the jokes: cuz we're awesome, cuz we can, etc. but for fuck's sake, aren't you guys getting sick of spending so much time and not even having fun? I use the word fight loosely. Cause it's not a fight, it's a time sink that could be spent enjoying other things. Don't any of remember how much fun eq was when you consistently met with your buddies on say a Tuesday and Thursday night and wrecked the monsters of Norrath Some of you are logging 12+hours daily just for those extra couple encounters you'd have to let someone else have in a rotation. I feel for the all the other guilds fighting for a piece of the pie. Truth is though, if they end up getting it in the same manner you guys have, I think they will end up wishing they hadn't. It's like a hotdog eating competition. The winner is really the loser.

Are you going to try to talk down the hot dog eaters next? They get something out of it. Probably major damage to their lower g.i., but that's not our problem.
I'm sure it seems reasonable to you, but a month after a rotation happens, half the raiding population will quit. There's no adrenaline rush or bragging rights to waiting your turn in line. There's a better version of that game called World of Warcraft.

And I've never had so much fun. To boot, TMO is a fun loving, family guild. If you've never been in TMO /gu, you really have no idea what you're talking about when you say TMO is just a "raid guild." Semi-casual members (nice ones!) who are willing to make a modest amount of raids and also enjoy helping their guild progress would do well to seriously contemplate applying to TMO. You'll never look back. Promise!
