Aside from not having the time to log in anymore, I quit because when I did I have time to log in I had no desire to knowing people were cheating. I thought about coming back when all the suspensions happened.

Now, even if the suspensions were permanent bans, I still don't think I'd come back. The way the community treats the individuals running the project is going to cause this server to die. How many Guides/devs have we gone through? How many are actually capable of making a truly authentic classic EQ feel?

I doubt this server in it's current state will ever see Velious. With that said, I hope Nilbog will continue working on it and then when he is ready to play/be done developing wipe it and start classic again.

TLDR verison: This server won't last without those spending their free time developing it. How long until they just throw in the towel and take down the server?

I don't see why calling it as you see it is a bad thing, especially when it's said to be another.

Instead people would just go, why even bother with them, they have special needs. There would be no speculation then, and everyone could just golf-clap.

Devs get upset when they don't get the "credit they deserve."

It's really about shutting the fuck up and doing your thing, not getting worked up over text.
