But you didn’t know this, and didn’t know them. And they began twirling the weapon around your head, saying “never fear, I am an expert with this and have never made a mistake” Any rational human being would say “get that the fuck away from my head, I don’t know you or know if any of that is true” That same sort of concept applies with people, usually younger people because I used to do this too, bombing down the mountain. We don’t know them, don’t know how truly in control they are, so keep the weapon away from my head, so to speak

![]() what shoes do you fuck with for your hikes and running?
i wore those Merrell Vapor glove barefoot ones just for the looks for awhile and enjoyed them, the normal ones not the ones with individual toes edit: just street wearing those things wore a hole through the sole but they were super comfortable until then

Those nearly barefoot are supposedly the way to go for definitely running. Not hiking where I live though, we supposedly have some of the sharpest rocks in the country and even though my trial runners have a strong thick sole (for a lightweight runner) our rocks even shred it up good. I can’t imagine what a nearly barefoot would feel like hiking But those are supposedly the best for running, and that is the drawback is that less material tends to wear out quicker. I’ve heard the serious racers will even buy ones that deteriorate so much they are only good for a single race, or maybe only a few. I dunno though, I’m stick in with my Ghost [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

That feel of a new pair and walking like you're bouncing in low gravity is great but the sheer cost of more than 1-2 good pairs a year adds up :s
