Whatever, for me, alcohol can be delicious(good craft beer), and I don't have to fucking sip at it like hot tea, I can drink it at a moderate pace, enjoy the flavor before, during, and after the beer, and get drunk afterwards. Maybe you are right and that is just a heavenly experience, but even if it tastes like melted chocolate and peanut butter on vanilla ice cream, sipping anything in that manner doesn't sound like a 'good time' to me.
Enjoying scotch is something you may learn about when you're older. Kind of like women who expect to be romanced before you screw them or the difference between an automobile and a car.

I was fortunate enough to be able to appreciate the finer things in life at a younger age, but I know what you mean. If "having a good time" is your goal, then redbull&vodka, fast women, and rice rockets are the way to go, and I wish you all the best of luck with that.

When you start to appreciate sunsets, bonsai trees, and generally start searching for something more in life, visit your local BevMo and pick up a couple starter bottles of single malt, and try out what I said.

did i hate being trolled and still biting. but yeah i appreciate alot of things older men do at my age(im 24). Nonetheless, I do not have an appreciation for scotch, and I doubt I will. Yes I am getting a crotch rocket though =/

then to put it into sportbike terms, a good scotch versus an inexpensive whiskey is like the difference between an aprilia rsv4 vs. yamaha yzf-r1. they'll both get you there, one of them is just more refined.

earlier today my dad showed up uninvited, poured himself a glass of my expensive-ass jameson, gulped it down in one gulp, then proceeded to eat my ice cream, and leave. and he only left because I got pissed and requested he leave.

It was very annoying.
