Coal is the best we have, because they won't allow for new energy development, unless it's something fail which destroys the environment, but they can make tons of money by being on the investment edge as they pump up fake or very slow progress which never leads to energy independence.

If they supported cold fusion, they may make money in the short term, but this energy source could eventually be run in your own home, very efficiently, breaking your need to rely on these globalists for most or all of your power hook-up needs. In fact starving 3rd worlders might even have the ability to produce clean water due to it, but that would mean they won't die off as fast as they want them to, so cold fusion is really a bad thing in their mind and must be delayed or stopped entirely.

And to add, nuclear power could be more affordable, more efficient, and safer, but if our leaking and unstable decaying power plants were modernized, it would put a damper on the green energy development farce.
