If FTE races are the solution (i'm not saying they are or aren't) i think it should be no buffs/no clicks and use of nets only for tag. 3Runners max per guild, 8hr variance. FTE in TOV/Kael/VP.

Said the guy who got an FTE once ... so yea...
But i cant argue that our guild is SUPER happy to have had the opportunity to participate in an AOW fight, something that obviously would be impossible without the help of you cool elf simulator bros. Hats off to Awakened and Aftermath for both offering their assistance. (sorry if I making your RNF too mooshey... Fuck you Trollolololol for good measures)
That FTE was more electrifying than a toaster in a bathtub!

So to be clear. The more casual guilds are complaining that they actually have to progress correctly to compete ? Seems to me a Crown of Rile click is a deserved advantage because the "raiding guilds" killed PD and progressed correctly. Seems like a natural entry and progression. Go kill PD and progress before taking part in Velious races. Seems like a perfect line of progression instead of being asked to be put on equal footing with guilds that have progressed by the GM's.

this would mean the top guilds would "progress" to velious passed VP/trak.

You want to progress as a guild correct ? Then do what other guilds have done. Compete for the targets first that gets you the gear you need to compete on the mobs in the new expansion. Don't just stand in the raid forums and beg to be put on equal footing every time the guilds who progressed correctly uses the gear they earned through previous foot races. You just come off as a someone always asking for a handout every step of the way.

"This is too hard. Please help us." So the GM helps you.

"Ok NOW this is too hard please help us again." So the GM helps you again.

When is it ever going to get easy enough to get you guys to stop complaining ? Just race in VP to start for PD and get yourselves up to that level instead of crying about a guild because they used the gear they earned.

can we add crown of rile spam so you can spam jump to the list of racing stuff that isn't fair to all participating? Should we also remove non LoS bard pulling ? The goal was to try and level out the playing field, and as you can see from this thread I don't think many find it very level.

It would be great to know if the spirit of the rule was to prevent train pulling, or if it was to prevent needing multiple coth mages parked coth ducking to secure FTE on anything in NtoV. It would be clear to tell if the new changes/rules helped alleviate any of that or not. The one hour to engage rule I think is a fantastic step towards making the mobs more open to lower tier guilds, but if the name of the game is still training around to the primary kill points ( west and entrance ) it is somewhat of a null point unless on a quake.

anonymous was able to survive in ToV on last quake because of people being busy elsewhere. any situation where csg/AA/div/anon/bda go for NtoV will be an absolute and complete mess.

See Kileras when most people read a post like this one you made in the Raid Discussion. All they see is someone asking for more changes because your gear isn't on par with the gear of guilds who have progressed correctly. You are asking to be put on even footing when you haven't progressed as a guild correctly to be there. You guys are asking GM's to remove all advantages that gear gives to the guilds that have progressed correctly. You are asking this AFTER Sirken has already went out of his way to make changes to help you once.

Progress your guild correctly and get the items off of Dragons that gives these small advantages instead of asking the GM's to remove the gear advantage. Heck Sirken has went out of his way to make races in VP as fair as possible and now he has for Kael and ToV as well. I mean do you guys not see how insane this is.

"Sirken I know these guys progressed and killed PD for these items. I know they are using the items for what their intended purpose was. But could you remove the use of these items because...well gee we really want to skip progression to catch up to them."

Yeah when I think EQ progression, I think having a Crown of Rile to jump forever on FTE footraces from the far end of the zone because we have to have horribly oppressive staff intervention because we're spoiled brats who can't share their toys.
Oh no, wait. When I think EQ progression, I think being able to kill the target.
