You mean your account should only be allowed to post on RnF where your own guild mates attempt to stop you from dragging your guild name through the mud.

Forum mods, see above.

Thank you,

I think the lute body requires red and white scales, so not exactly a trivial turn in
can get red scales from the hole I believe with the revamp. Only real "hard" part would be white scales from vox/gore

This is what I was talking about not seeing, I saw the knockback. It's a 1min unresistable root, with 300 range and 4 sec recast. It was perpetually cast on the main tank, when used in conjunction with the knock back, on a rooted mob... She basically punts your main tank out of range, roots him, and then she turns to fight the next person on aggro. Forcing a constant tank swap, providing a huge challenge in the encounter, how do you cope with those tank/heal swaps on a mob that has such high output DPS.

I would guess her nuke could randomly break the root allowing you to move back up but I definitely recall it still being a huge nuisance to deal with. EDIT - My recollection is clearly not Velious era because only like 2 guilds killed her in Velious. But the root effect was talked about in 2002 and ways to cope with it are also discussed on Allakhazam. So I doubt it was added afterwards... I'll check April 2001 spdats to see if it's in there. However judging by her loot we are dealing with a late 2001/2002 version anyways.
Spell existed in the original Velious spell file.

Fixed, pending update. We also know that her knockback is weaker than it should be and we are looking into that.

Nice! Thanks Alunova, I probably should've posted in bug reports but I tend to prefer to not do that based on another guilds video. First hand experience > fraps questing some classic quest.

It's not trivial no.

But is it wild to imagine someone investing in another lute body to farm kunark BPs?

It only takes 1 lute body to spawn trak forever.
Are you saying you think someone could essentially go infinite by investing an initial red/white scale, killing trak, selling the guts and BP, and still net a profit each loop? I mean it's not crazy but I think your interpretation of the ROI is way way off.

That's tempting to do, to get banked guts so you can just MQ them to future bards and grind out all your Trak's you will need in a week or two.

But honestly I could see UDB sitting up for a few hours at a time after the first month or two of bards who have scales already contesting it

When you hand the lute to UDB, he gives it right back.

You only need 1 lute.

Unless something has changed, there's no reason a bard who already has his or her epic couldn't go through the epic quest again to get another lute and then farm UDB trak forever with that one lute.

1 lute prolly costs ~100k.

1 trak expected value ~40k + whatever you sell the loot rights to the guts for. Lets say 50k.

So you only made 90k on your first trak. But you still have your lute. So you can do UDB again next week. Another ~90k. Spend 100k, get 180k. ROI looks pretty okay. Lets see if it works again.

Get another UDB. Get another 90k. Now you have 270k and you've still only spent 100k.

Am I missing where the return starts to suck?
