and colgate didn't have to Skype with lite. again the context of his name getting out was him asking if that was one of us calling him. maybe better communication could have been used and it could have been avoided. again someone's name isn't PII, it's not debatable.

Colgate freely let his name be known via Skype . We both can play that card . I think guild leaders and officers should put a muzzle on their members and sirken should suspend and hold the guild as a whole on how their members act . Especially with rl info on the forums and in ooc .

Agreeing to do a skype with GM is different than posting on the public forums yourself. You are completely taking all responsibility out of Lite's hands with that comment. It isn't someone's responsibility to hide their identity when chatting with someone outside of the forums.

Many people expect to keep personal and real life matters seperate from those that happen on the Internet. We expect all forum members to respect eachother's privacy. You may not ever post any real life information about another user, including but not limited to, name and address, phone numbers, pictures, employers, associates, etc. This also extends to protect other forms of communication including IM Aliases and E-Mail addresses.

is gyno still in your guild? if so STFU.

you also notice how it says "name and address" that does in fact become PII when it's two pieces of associated information. Your name in it's own right is not PII. Check the law at your high school library.
