Not a ton to do with them. Blame a stagnant industry about to collapse. Publishers have fallen into "blockbuster or nothing" trap. They could be making a ton on polish and support of humans who.male fin interesting things with the medium. Comic books do thesame way. Its like we live in a world now where "good" doesnt exist in leu for "epic epic epic of epic".

Tell that to Anita Sarkeesian then she's the one pissed off at games and the industry as a whole. Nobody involved gamergate is actively showing anger towards games themselves, they are mad at gaming journalism the fact that gaming in general is terrible is a separate issue entirely and fixing it wouldn't fix gaming journalism one bit because development and journalism are completely unrelated...


...unless a dev sleeps with a journalist to gain recognition which is the whole goddamn point.
