Tasslehof, I had mine taken out not too long ago so I can tell you this:

You cannot spit, smoke, or use a straw for 24 hours

I had very little pain and swelling, I did not take Vicodin or asprin.

It was about a week before I was eatting regularly, but maybe that is because I was just terrified of getting shit in my sockets.

I had mine taken out non-surgically and was awake for the process. The cracking sounds the teeth make when coming out and the pressure of the being pulled will forever haunt my dreams.

See mine started breaking into peices when he was pulling out. Thats why he had to put his knee on my chest to get a better angle of the smaller piece that was still in there to get out. i'll take being awake 100x over being put under though(just not something i want)
