I don't think I have ever once in my life tried to convince anyone of my maturity.

maybe not consciously, but surely that is one of the main imperatives of your subconscious. you constantly point out the maturity faults of others.

That's a somewhat interesting observation. When I have more time in a couple weeks, I'll go back and consider how I express myself here.
I am generally most interested in ideas and discussing those ideas. I find that people often take it personally when I critique their arguments, but I almost never intend those posts as character attacks. I think my character attacks are pretty obvious and generally offered quid pro quo. I've been pretty insulting to you lately because your posts so often include generic name calling. I try to avoid references to past demonstrations of personality faults and I am somewhat annoyed when someone wants to interact at that level. When the whole forum degenerates to that, I usually take a break for weeks or months. I've found RnF much more interesting lately, which is why I've been posting fairly often. I find picking on Kagatob about anime really uninteresting. He and I often don't get along, and he's obviously biting at the melodrama, but it holds no interest for me at all. I'll trade a few barbs with people like Chest or Visceral, but it gets dull very quickly. | ||
