I can see both sides about the slime blood, I even believe Visc and Sloan's account of it. So yes, Chest is wrong in that department. But Slydexx actively dodged attempts to retrieve the eye from him, you keep attempting to ignore/refute this. Then you blame Chest/BDA leadership for mismanaging the guild bank. That is not the case, its a case of a single asshole screwing things up for everyone. Slydexx steals from BDA and then diminishes FE's reputation by using said stolen item.

I'll continue to reiterate, as both Yaji and Chest have in here, that conversations and attempts to contact Slydexx where made. I can't comment on what other steps were taken by Chest or other senior leadership in BDA.

I also was not yet an officer when Slydexx left- so I didn't reach out to another guild with inquiry as I had trust in Slydexx and figured that we'd connect, I'd remind him he needs to return the Eye to be an honest guy, and had no other inclination to believe he would have done anything other than that because I did not know Slydexx as a greedy person. The guy was a supporter, a guild guy, and in my exposure had no issues being fair and reasonable.

This is far enough out of character that it left-hooked many of us. Perhaps that's why it wasn't an escalated thing, because we all know Sly's style of play often involves some decent AFK's...or maybe that they were getting ready to get back to work and his playtime was limited (I'm not going to comment on his RL stuff, but the seasons have impact on his availability, and this is the time of the season where he gets busy).

i can't refute or confirm any attempts to contact sly that was between bda members/leadership and him.

I merely posted that as an example of how stupid their argument that FE's leadership was complicit in the act, it wasn't serious...but it was curious that it took so long to reach out for it.

Regardless BDA leadership took it as a reason to come on here and flame FE as a whole, which shows their true colors. You said it yourself it is a BDA/Slydexx issue. Treat it as such.

It makes me feel sort of inadequate and a little dirty. I got a little distracted by Divinity members attacking me for snickering at the mud-slinging. What the hell was that about?

I am confident, though, that when the dust settles, we'll return to normal where every time I post anything, multiple members of BDA rush to say something about hierophant cloaks.

Maybe people are calling you a crybaby because you came here spewing vitriol about an entire guild over something most of us knew nothing about and before even trying to contact that guild's leadership to resolve the issue. I know I wouldn't have made a post in this thread or the other thread had you not made unfounded and unsupported claims about FE's role in this whole ordeal. Take a look at my posting history if you don't believe me, I almost never post in RnF. Your approach to conflict resolution makes me wonder how you ever managed to keep the former BDA members who left for FE as long as you did. The only thing you've exposed here is how your horrendous manner in handling this situation has even the most reasonable FE members wary about giving you anything. Hell, I say we offer BDA our next two Eyes if they reform without Chest as a leader. Might I suggest Anichek? He's seemed pretty reasonable throughout this whole ordeal.
