We are more equal than most creatures of the same species in nature. As Hobbes put it, none of us are so strong the weakest can't kill the strongest -- through alliance or secret machination.

The root of most things wrong with the world comes down to power differences. Power differences should be kept to a minimum.

Right now power is given out irresponsibility to whoever happens to obtain it.

No one cares about racism if their landlord, employer, people that teach your kids etc...have zero power over you. But that's not the world we live in. We live in one where power is given out rather arbitrarily. Those with the most are generally just those that want it the most.
