It's always interesting how those who proport to be "patriots" who "love the U.S. constitution" are always the most radically treacherous, seditious and violent people in the country with no regard for their fellow Americans.

Unfortunately, the militarist wing always will attract nihilistic psychopaths. Without some sort of ideological fetters on those people, traditionally imparted by the religious aspect, full-on cannibalism runs the risk of being loosed. As I see these fetters erode even among our highest leaders and those who would pretend piety, my fear grows. Disaster always follows, as in Imperial Japan, Nazi Germany, & everywhere else that "conservatism" becomes conflated with viciousness & the destruction of institutions (so obviously antithetical to conserving).

Seems all that's left of Christianity is to hate "deviants". Even conservative women who sought assimilation into consensus culture through the magic of Western science away from homosexuality. We've mistaken hatred for piety and money for God, and we are paying for it to the tune of 1 million lives presently, having been completely blinded to our national interest by propaganda driven by godless Big Business.

Conservatives are supposed to be enthusiastic about national defense. A real conservative would seek the means to defend from foreign plagues, natural and man-made, as we mature into an era of new and highly sophisticated military and scientific capacity. A real conservative would see right through the atheist charlatan Trump, who after delivering on none of his promises called that he was going to tear at the legitimacy of the election weeks beforehand like Babe Ruth. A real conservative would honor the patriot Snowden who revealed activities contrary to law on a vast scale. They would honor people who seek a path from cloistered subculture back into the world of men and women. What we have instead of conservatives are cannibals, and instead of liberals warmongering delusionals. What a very sickly national consciousness.

I really hate to say this, and I know it's a cliche, but I think this place is going to burn. I don't see how we can survive such insanity and such low-quality collective character without disaster of Biblical scale. Just listen to the people on this board. They are very average.

you have no retort. it's the killshot, and yes I'll repeat it a few times so your remarks about desiring a mass-death political event in the United States are known. it debunks your very intent.

You want an event of collective political violence, like the National Socialists you are more aligned with Bolshevism than American Conservatism based on limited government intervention. Tearing at the rule of law is not conservative.

One of the tragedies of this election is that the Trump administration, acting as a mirror for the petty, vindictive nature of the man in the Oval Office, is generally refusing to cooperate with the incoming Biden administration in what would normally be a smooth and peaceful transition process. While thousands of his countrymen die every single day to a deadly virus, the Trump administration - barring a few exceptions - is desperately throwing wrenches into the system to make life as difficult as possible for Biden next year.

How does that behavior serve the interests of the nation? What purpose does it serve? It's infantile, petulant, and very nearly beyond comprehension. The fact that we're actually at this point really bums me out. And that's not even getting into the ramifications of election fraud conspiracies, which have predictably been shredded into oblivion by the courts. And now Trump and his personal attorney are literally asking state legislatures to just sidestep the courts? Really? Really?!??!

At some point, it's no longer about f*cking politics. It's about rule of law, evidence, and the common good.

Trump lost. Biden will be America's next president. As Laura Ingraham of Fox News put it, "this constitutes living in reality."
