Apparently Conservatives care a lot about gay people when it's brown people assassinating them, but who cares about them when they're hunted down by militias in russia. They care a lot about international laws when saddam invades koweit or when Kimmi jong launches rockets, but who cares if russia invades ukraine or georgia.. they were already russians anyway ! just like the balkan states.. Who cares that Assad is a baasist who used chemical weapons against his own people, just like saddam hussein used gas against kurds.. they're vladimir's allies, so they must be cool. i won't add the freedom of press since apparently conservatives already threw that out by electing a dumbass who whines "fake news" at every criticism thrown at him, thinks NATO is an american company and can't prove he's been wiretapped even though he has FBI, NSA and the most powerfull intelligence in the world at his command.

For a long time i actually defended americans against people who thought you were all dumbasses. You have great music, great writers, great movies.. Jar, I hate Russia because they help Iran send their people to die in Syria. As for Ukraine, there is evidence that we have meddled there and have tried to align them towards NATO and the EU. Ever heard of finlandization? Russia fancies itself as an empire and doesn't like aggression on its borders

Again, I don't agree with Putin at all. I don't admire him. I do think we should try to understand people though. Russia, REGARDLESS of the current leader, would always act in Ukraine. Anything else would appear dickless to the Russian population since they've been doing it since Catherine the great

Since we're talking about brutal civil wars, who is right in Syria? Assad is a butcher but guess what, the minorities are on his side. I imagine if Christians and Kurds and alawis and Druze are aligned against ISIS and al qaeda, it's possible we're on the wrong team.

Point being, these analyses of right and wrong are very simplistic. And BTW, a lot of us didn't support invading Iraq since you brought up Saddam. The whole fucking point is to turn a page on globalism which has fucked 70-80% of the American population and probably only benefitted 1-3%

Final point. As much as I don't like Putin, I'm not dying to kill Russians. I'm not dying to save Ukrainians. I wouldn't vote then for someone else to die in my place. What kind of Faustian bargain is pissing off Putin? Have y'all heard of North Korea? China? We might need the Russians. In case you forgot, they were on our side in I and II and, if played correctly, might be in III (or at least if on our side could be used against china to stop them)

Seriously though, grand strategy wise Russia is nukes + hydrocarbons. Nothing to be gained by fighting them and everything to lose. That doesn't mean I'm OK with Georgia or Ukraine being dismembered! Just like in not OK with bahais being murdered in Iran or Jews occupying Palestine. Your mentality that I should care is stupid and naive bud. Our governments need to solve problems they can actually address, not constantly gin up support for the Sisyphean task of remaking the world in our image

PS: dude I live in Texas and literally 10% of the population max has any inclination to care about gay people. That really isn't an issue for anyone sane

speaking of honeybees, you know flowers talk to them? I learned that recently. flowers apparently let out certain electrical signals when they super fertile, kinda like a cat in heat or since they boy flowers, I guess it like pitching a tent in public and tweeting it or something. anyway, the honey bee find out and come take care of them. the neat part is, soon as the bee land on the flower, he change his signal so he not bothered by other bees until he ready again.

Then, the bee, he go back to his hive of course, covered head to toe (bees dont really have toes, but yeah) in the flower jizzum and he do a little dance for his bee buddies at the hive to tell them where the flower is if it still have pollens. his movements actually indicate the direction and approximate distance of the flower. of course once they in the rough area, the flower's signal guides them in the rest of the way.
